Volunteers of America Oregon is running a 1-day. 6 round tournament on Saturday, March 23 at the Matt Dishman Center, 77 NE Knott St, Portland 97212. Time control will be 25 min + 5 sec increment. All excess proceeds beyond prizes go to fund the Al Forthan scholarship to help youth impacted by poverty and addiction to still have a chance to go to college. For the scholastic section, for all placements, there is chocolate chess pieces, trophies & medals, and $5 Burgerville giftcards.
