Schedule: Register on-site any time before 8:15pm on Saturday. Play starts at 8:30pm and will likely last until around 10:30pm.
Format: 8-round single Swiss in one section, with the higher of a player’s official August US Chess over-the-board regular and blitz rating used for pairings, and prize eligibility. US Chess blitz rated. $25 entry fee and US Chess membership is required; pay by cash, check payable to the Oregon Chess Federation, or PayPal to [email protected].
Prizes: $475 based on 30 players, $238 guaranteed. The prize fund is adjusted proportionally if there are a different number of players. Open section: $150 First, $75 second, $50 each for U2050, U1800, U1550, U1300, U1050. Unrated players are eligible for all prizes. Players may win only one prize.
