Oregon representatives in the 2022 National State Invitational events

The following players will be representing Oregon in the 2022 National State Invitational events from July 30-August 2.

Calvin Chang
38th Annual GM Arnold Denker National Tournament of High School (9-12) State Champions. Calvin qualified to be the Oregon representative by winning the top high school section at the 2022 Oregon Scholastic Chess Federation State Championship with a perfect 5-0.
Ishaan Kodarapu12th Annual Dewain Barber National Tournament of Middle School (6-8) State Champions. Ishaan qualified to be the Oregon representative by winning the top middle section at the 2022 Oregon Scholastic Chess Federation State Championship with 4.5/5.
Hayul Lim3nd Annual John D. Rockefeller III National Tournament of Elementary School (K-5) State Champions. Hayul qualified to be the Oregon representative by tying for first in the top elementary school section at the 2022 Oregon Scholastic Chess Federation State Championship with 4/5 and winning the blitz playoff to determine the Rockefeller representative.
NM and WFM Zoey Tang10th Annual WIM Ruth Haring National Tournament of Girls (K-12) State Champions. Zoey qualified to be the Oregon representative by winning the 2022 Oregon Girls Championship with a perfect 5-0.
GM James Tarjan5th Annual John T. Irwin National Tournament of Senior (50+) State Champions. James qualified to be the Oregon representative by tying for first in the 2022 Oregon Senior Open with 4.5/5 and winning a two game classical match playoff to determine the Irwin representative.
